In the book of Romans we are reminded that…we have all sinned and come short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). God demonstrates His love for us by sending Jesus Christ to deliver us from the penalty and power of sin. Through our faith in Jesus we experience 1) Justification –we are declared righteous 2) Redemption – we are bought back through His blood. 3) Propitiation – Jesus satisfied the requirement to God’s holiness. We also have assurance that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
BS 109: Historic Journey of Blacks in the Bible
Instructor: Rev. Joseph Deck
Science is limited because it does not have the total truth of God’s revelation; yet the more science uncovers as irrefutable evidence, the Word of God in the Bible is verified as the undisputed document of divine revelation. DNA evidence points to a common ancestor for all races that can be traced back to Africa. The continent of Africa and its people played a major role in the Biblical narrative. The course will reveal the presence of Blacks in the Bible, Biblically, historically, politically, and geographically that will provide the students with evidence that blacks are in the Bible! Myths such as the curse of Ham will be dispelled, and the ancestry of Jesus will reveal an interesting and sometimes inconvenient truth
