Children's Midweek Bible Study Ministry

“Train up your children in the way they should go: and when they are old, they will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

The Children’s Midweek Bible Study Ministry aims to prepare Reid Temple’s young disciples of Christ with the tools they will need to lead future generations to their rightful inheritances. To achieve this goal, it coordinates an ongoing series of themed, age-appropriate Bible lessons that introduce children in grades pre-K–8 to important Biblical concepts such as salvation and the process of sanctification through Jesus Christ. Through songs, arts and crafts, dance, video presentations, role-playing exercises, learning stations, and other structured activities, the ministry’s teachers and facilitators show young people how to apply Biblical principles to their daily lives and how to live a lifestyle that is pleasing to Christ.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE/VOLUNTEER

To participate, children should bring a Bible, writing utensils, and a willing spirit. Young children must be toilet-trained. Prospective teachers/facilitators must bring ideas, a committed spirit, and a love of children.

Children’s Midweek Bible Study classes are held every Wednesday at 7:00pm on the Reid Temple-Glenn Dale Campus.
