Reid Temple’s Vacation Bible School (V.B.S.) provides a Bible-based education for the young and young at heart in our church and community. While our dedicated team of V.B.S. instructors and coordinators take the study of the Word of God seriously, when they add healthy doses of age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, and recreational activities to the mix of instruction and prayer—suddenly, Bible Study becomes an exciting, fun-filled way to spend a week during the Summer. HOW TO PARTICIPATE/VOLUNTEER
This ministry begins its planning activities in the early Spring. V.B.S. staff positions include teachers and teacher assistants (at the preschool, primary, junior/teen, and adult levels), craft coordinators, and outdoor activities coordinators. All volunteers must attend a training workshop prior to the start of each V.B.S. session.
V.B.S. meets for six days during the Summer on the Reid Temple-Glenn Dale Campus.
