The members of this ministry glorify God and edify the Reid Temple Church family by utilizing their collective professional talents and business experience to provide comprehensive legal expertise and assistance on identified areas of concern to the church, to church members, and to members of the church community. Their legal advice and support guide the implementation of Pastor Washington’s vision for Reid Temple. Additionally, they advise and collaborate with other Reid Temple lay ministries as well as other legal ministries in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. region on matters relating to the law and Christian organizations and activities. The Legal Affairs Ministry also creates and nurtures relationships with youth who are interested in pursuing legal careers, promoting and encouraging mentor/mentee relationships with pre-law, undergraduate, and law students among the congregation and in the community.
