The Shields of Faith are members of the Reid Temple Congregation who support the Church’s mission by using their Personally and Professional knowledge, skills, abilities  and experience to help reduce risk to the Church.  We do this by assisting the Trustees in providing security and safety measures for the Congregation.

• Support Reid Temple Leadership and members in following the will of God, live according to the teaching of Christ and administer to the need of our fellow man.
  
  
• Minimize risk to the Church and congregation by working with Church leadership to ensure we have security, emergency management and continuity of operations plans.
  
  
• To provide a physical presence to deter, detect, delay and deny threats to our congregations during worship services and church events.
