Monthly Communities
At Reid Temple we ensure that every member is connected. One of the ways we do this is through the Communities. Each member is placed in a Community according to their birth month.
Member Profile
inFellowship
inFellowship is the Reid Temple Membership Database. You can use the database to create a profile, register for conferences, pay your tithes and offerings, retrieve statements for tax purposes, make requests to join a group, and more.
To help us stay in touch with you, please review, validate and update your membership information online. If you do not have an email address already in the Reid Temple membership database, please contact us at: khughley@reidtemple.org (include your name, Reid Temple envelope #, email, and date of birth). If you do not have an email address, please call the church at 301.352.0320. Your information will not be shared with any third-party entities.

New Member's Orientation
New Members Orientation prepares new members for full membership. New members are instructed in four standardized classes in the history, doctrine, and discipline of the AME church. Attendees are also instructed in the effective practice of Bible Study. Click below to take the orientation online.
Class Leaders
The membership of Reid Temple, like that of every congregation of the A.M.E. Church since its founding, is divided into small organizational groups, called classes. All new or transferring members are assigned to a class after completing their reading-in
process. Each class is headed by a Class Leader, who is appointed by the Pastor and trained in the history, structure, and disciplines of the A.M.E. Church.
Celebration of Life Council
“If you have a birthday, you have a ministry!”
Every other month, Reid Temple’s Celebration of Life Council (CLC) ministry hosts special fellowship activities for all church members born in that month. This creates an instant “spiritual family” for everyone who joins Reid Temple—and it can help YOU move from membership and fellowship to stewardship and discipleship. The CLC also organizes volunteer teams that provide support for other ministries’ service activities so that new members can identify the ministry (or ministries) through which they can best serve the church as disciples.
