Sacred Grounds Native Plant Project
Virtual Discussion Group Participants Needed for Sacred Grounds Native Plant Project
Did you know that gardens with native plants help people and wildlife in our Reid Temple communities? Would you like to see butterflies and birds in your yard?
Do you have a green thumb or want to learn about gardening with native plants?
Reid Temple has joined Sacred Grounds, a multi-faith program to help us (1) plant native plants to protect nearby streams and rivers that flow into the Chesapeake Bay, as well as (2) learn more what we can do in our homes and how we can help beautify our church grounds.
To join this virtual discussion group, register by September 20 for the October 1 session or the October 9 session, 6PM-7PM.
For more information, please contact Edna Primrose of the Reid Temple Environmental Justice Ministry at environmentaljustice@reidtemple.org or 301•690•0980.
