Reid Temple AME is thrilled to be part of the global GivingTuesday movement. On this special day, people all over the world come together to give back, help others, and make a positive impact. We believe that the true essence of the holiday season is compassion, generosity, and coming together as a community to create a ripple of positive change. This year in honor of Reid Temple celebrating 60 years we are doubling that goal! We plan to raise $60,000 by Tuesday, December 3rd, and we believe that together, we can.

Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental human value anyone can act on. The holiday season is upon us, and we want you to join us as we increase our outreach efforts. Last year was the first time that Reid Temple participated in GivingTuesday with a goal set at $30,000. We exceeded that amount with a whopping $44,332 We collected $44,332. Let that sink in...

Our Impact in 2023

With your generous support we were able to give back in a grand way. Here’s how:

  • By making sure our children were warm for the winter
  • By making sure families were provided with meals for Christmas
  • By providing toiletries and necessities for the unhoused community
  • By assisting teachers with shopping sprees to provide for their students
